Trent Thornton took the loss after giving up five runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out three over three innings Friday against the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
Thornton looked great in his first two starts of the season but came back down to earth on Friday. The 25-year-old righty now has a 4.61 ERA and 1.24 WHIP. Thornton faces the Twins on Wednesday but fantasy owners may want to avoid that matchup.
