Tyler Mahle allows four runs in loss Tuesday

by Elliott Baas | Reds Correspondent | Wed, Apr 17th 12:03pm EDT

Tyler Mahle allowed four runs on 11 hits over six innings in the Reds' 6-1 loss to the Dodgers on Tuesday. He walked none and struck out three while falling to 0-1.

Fantasy Impact:

Mahle had delivered two solid outings prior to this game, but those came against the Pirates and Marlins. He shouldn't be used against a top offense like the Dodgers. This start was so bad from a run prevention standpoint, but allowing 11 hits in six innings really puts a dent in his WHIP. His next start comes Sunday at San Diego, and he could be a low-end streaming option in that game.
