Ryan Brasier gets charged with a blown save

by John Aubin | Dodgers Correspondent | Thu, Apr 18th 4:53am EDT

Ryan Brasier was charged with a blown save in Wednesday's loss to the Yankees as he gave up a grand slam. He allowed one earned run on one hit with two strikeouts over two-thirds of an inning.

Fantasy Impact:

Brasier came in during the seventh inning with the bases loaded and gave up a grand slam to Brett Gardner. The veteran reliever has been used in save situations in the ninth inning but the Red Sox decided to use him to end the rally in the seventh. It looks like Brasier and Matt Barnes will be alternating in different situations and both may get chances for saves.
