Jake Odorizzi picks up first win
by Matthew Terelle | Rays Correspondent | Thu, Apr 18th 7:59am EDT
Minnesota Twins right-hander Jake Odorizzi allowed the Blue Jays to score just one run in 5 2/3 innings in a 4-1 win on Wednesday. Odorizzi struck out six and walked one in the win.
Fantasy Impact:
Odorizzi has struggled for much of the season, so his Wednesday start was encouraging, even though it came against a weak Toronto lineup. Overall, the veteran has a 1-2 record, 4.76 ERA, and 21 strikeouts in 17 innings of work.
