Jose Alvarado pitched one inning and struck out the side as the Rays lost to the Orioles in extra-innings by a 5-4 score on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Alvarado came into the season looking like the would be the Rays main closer. But that has not been the case as the team has been using a committee approach and using Alvarado in different situations. The 23-year-old reliever is a must-own in fantasy leagues that count holds as well a saves as he has a combined six on the year.
