Sean Newcomb takes loss in first start in Triple-A

Braves starter Sean Newcomb, who was making his first start for Triple-A Gwinnett after being sent down earlier in the week, allowed two earned runs on three hits and four walks while striking out five to take the loss on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
The Braves sent Newcomb down after a disastrous start against the New York Mets and a troubling eight walks against just five strikeouts over his first 12 1/3 innings to start the season. While Thursday's performance was not particularly awful, the Braves will want to see him cut down on those walks before they consider calling him back up to the major league squad.
