Mets closer Edwin Diaz allowed one hit and one walk while striking out one to record the save in Friday's win over the St. Louis Cardinals. The save was his seventh of the season.

Diaz is one of the top closers in baseball and one of the best closers for fantasy owners, and he figures to be near the league lead in saves when all is said and done, provided he stays healthy.
