Taylor Rogers picks up two-inning save
by Matthew Adam | Giants Correspondent | Sat, Apr 20th 9:31pm EDT
Minnesota Twins reliever Taylor Rogers pitched two innings in a 6-5 win over the Orioles in the first game of their doubleheader on Saturday. Rogers earned the save while allowing one run and striking out five.
Fantasy Impact:
it was Rogers, not Blake Parker, who picked up the save chance in this one. He turned in a strong performance, although it stands to reason that Parker will remain the team's preferred option at closer. That being said, the left-hander Rogers should see the occasional save when the matchups dictate.
