Charlie Morton gives up five runs to the Red Sox

Charlie Morton didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Red Sox, giving up five runs on five hits and two walks over six innings while striking out nine.

Fantasy Impact:

This was Morton's worst start of the season but it was not as bad as it looks as he gave up a grand slam in the second inning. Morton now has a 3.38 ERA and 34:12 K:BB through 26 2/3 innings. The veteran starter will face the Red Sox once again in his next start.
