Dakota Hudson allowed three runs on five hits over five innings in the Cardinals' 6-4 win over the Mets on Sunday. He walked two and struck out five while improving to 1-1.
All three of the runs Hudson allowed were solo home runs, and he's served up eight in 18.1 innings this season. The amount of home runs Hudson has allowed is shocking considering he allowed eight total across his entire minor league career. Home run prevention has always been his best skill, and if Hudson isn't doing that he isn't doing much of value for fantasy owners. His next start comes Saturday vs. Cincinnati.
