Trevor Cahill roughed up against Mariners

by Dan Harris | Angels Correspondent | Mon, Apr 22nd 2:20pm EDT

Trevor Cahill allowed five runs on six hits and two walks over 4 1/3 innings on Saturday against the Mariners. He struck out five and took the loss, falling to 1-2 on the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Cahill allowed three home runs, making that five allowed in his last two starts. He's up to a 5.47 ERA, though he does have a respectable 1.18 WHIP on the season. His decent strikeout rate and ability to limit free passes keeps him relevant in very deep or AL-only leagues, but he's hardly a reliable option. He will take on the Yankees in his next start.
