Elvis Andrus leaves Monday's game with hand contusion after HBP

Elvis Andrus was removed from Monday's game in the seventh inning for precautionary reasons with a hand contusion. Andrus had been hit by a pitch in the first inning. (John Blake on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The fact that Andrus remained in the game for two more at-bats is encouraging, but he looked to be in great pain after the hit-by-pitch. Hopefully, the injury is indeed a contusion and not anything worse, especially since Andrus' strong start last year was derailed by a hit-by-pitch, too. The Rangers should follow up with more details after the game.
