Mets starter Steven Matz allowed one run on three hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings in a win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday. The win brings him to 2-1 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Matz was not even able to get an out in the first inning before being lifted in his previous start, so a quality start and a win is about as good as a bounce-back performance as fantasy owners could hope for. He will now take a 4.03 ERA and 25 strikeouts over 22 1/3 innings into his next start against the Milwaukee Brewers.
