Justus Sheffield to be called up Friday

Fantasy Impact:
Yusei Kikuchi is making a “shortened start” on Friday so Sheffield will pitch after him. The Mariners are trying to limit Kikuchi’s workload this season and view this as a good chance to get Sheffield some exposure to big league hitting. The southpaw has a 3.93 ERA through four starts in Triple-A this season. It’s worth noting he has been struggling with his command, issuing 14 walks already.
