Jalen Beeks (1-0) allowed two hits and two walks while striking out seven across 4 2/3 innings to earn the win Tuesday against the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
Beeks has had a solid start to the season with a 3.32 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 19 innings. He has performed a variety of roles but has mostly been following the "opener" starts for the team which means he is not eligible for a quality start and not always in the mix for wins. Unless he can get a starting role he is not worth owning in fantasy.
