Clint Frazier headed to Injured List with tear in left ankle

Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier is being placed on the Injured List due to a tear in his left ankle, according to beat reporter Bryan Hoch on Twitter. Manager Aaron Boone said that there is a partial tear in Frazier’s left ankle, they believe it could be a 10-14 day stint on the IL. (Bryan Hoch on Twitter)

The Yankees cannot catch a break right now when it comes to injuries, as Frazier is the latest in what is becoming an incredibly long list of injuries through just the first month of the season. He had been making the most of his recent playing time in New York, hitting .324 with six home runs, 10 runs scored, and 17 RBIs through 68 at-bats.
