Javier Baez went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in the Cubs' 7-6 win over the Dodgers on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Baez now has homers in back-to-back games and eight on the season. There was preseason concern as to whether Baez could repeat last year's production, but he's more than delivered in the power department with a .344 ISO in 98 PA. His .362 BABIP is sure to drop, but Baez has a career .338 BABIP, so his average won't nosedive even when his BABIP normalizes. Those who believed in Baez on draft day are sure to reap the benefits all year long.
