J.D. Martinez is out of the lineup on Sunday against the Rays after being scratched with back spasms on Saturday. Steve Pearce will start at DH. (Ian Browne on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
There's nothing yet to indicate that the injury is severe, and hopefully the Red Sox are just being cautious with Martinez. The Red Sox should provide a further update after the game, and fantasy owners will hopefully see Martinez in the lineup against the A's on Monday.
