The Mets have designated Travis d'Arnaud for assignment and recalled Tomas Nido. (New York Mets on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
d'Arnaud had gotten off to an awful start this year and had a critical base-running gaffe on Saturday. He was only a backup to Wilson Ramos, so the move likely doesn't have any real fantasy value. But for a player who was once the center-piece of the trade that brought over Noah Syndergaard from the Blue Jays, this is quite the fall from grace.
