Willson Contreras homers, swipes base in win Sunday

by Elliott Baas | Cardinals Correspondent | Sun, Apr 28th 10:50pm EDT

Willson Contreras went 1-for-6 with a solo home run, a stolen base, and four strikeouts in the Cubs' 6-5 extra innings win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Contreras was credited with a steal after the ball bounced away from Arizona catcher Carson Kelly in the 13th. He tested his luck again by trying to steal home, but was easily thrown out as Arizona pitcher Jon Duplantier was holding the ball. It was an odd sequence of events for Contreras, but he now has one steal and seven home runs on the year. He's a top-five fantasy catcher.
