Whit Merrifield went 1-for-5 with a strikeout and a run scored in Sunday's loss to the Angels.
Fantasy Impact:
Merrifield extended his modest hitting streak to four games in the process, as he now has five hits and five runs scored over his last four games. There was thought that his counting stats could suffer a bit this season in Kansas City, but the team has done better than expected offensively and Merrifield has continued to his. He's now slashing .296/.349/.496 with four homers and five stolen bases in seven attempts.
