Jordan Hicks got one out in the eighth inning of Sunday's win over the Reds, earning his first hold of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
It seems clear that the Cardinals intended to keep Hicks in for the ninth inning, but the Cardinals broke open the game and they opted to play it safe. Hicks continues to have an excellent year, with a 2.31 ERA and 0.94 WHIP with a stellar strikeout rate. He remains a borderline RP1 in most fantasy leagues.
