Anthony Rendon (elbow) is not in the Nationals' lineup on Monday against the Cardinals. Howie Kendrick will play third base and bat fourth.
Fantasy Impact:
Rendon has now missed seven of the Nationals' last eight games with his elbow injury. If you're looking for optimism, it's that Rendon has not yet been placed on the injured list. But he obviously makes a risky start for those in weekly leagues.
