Jake Odorizzi excellent in Monday start

Minnesota Twins right-hander Jake Odorizzi pitched seven shutout innings in a 1-0 win over the Astros on Monday. Odorizzi finished with seven strikeouts and just one walk in the win.

Odorizzi got off to a rough start this season but he has allowed just three runs over his last three starts. Overall, the right-hander has a 3-2 record, 3.34 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 30 strikeouts in 29 2/3 innings of work. He will face the Yankees in his next start.
