Jason Vargas allows one run in no-decision Tuesday

Mets starter Jason Vargas allowed one earned run on three hits and three walks while striking out five over 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Reds on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Vargas seems to have righted the ship after a rough start to the season, but he is not pitching very deep into games and is walking nearly as many batters as he is striking out. While his ERA is now down to 5.75 from the astronomical 14.21 that it was just a couple of weeks ago, it may end up settling somewhere in the fives. His next start is scheduled to come against the Brewers in Milwaukee.
