Jordan Lyles last just four innings in no decision Tuesday

by Elliott Baas | Royals Correspondent | Wed, May 1st 12:42pm EDT

Jordan Lyles allowed two runs on three hits over four innings in the Pirates' 6-4 extra innings win over the Rangers on Tuesday. He walked four and struck out five in the no decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Lyles control was all over the place in this one, and it caused him to get an early hook. It took Lyles 96 pitches to get 12 outs, and only 52 of those pitches went for strikes. This makes back-to-back poor outings for Lyles, and he's cemented himself as a streamer in mixed leagues because of this inconsistency. His next start comes Sunday vs. Oakland.
