Anthony DeSclafani strikes out eight in no decision Wednesday

by Elliott Baas | Twins Correspondent | Wed, May 1st 11:45pm EDT

Anthony DeSclafani pitched allowed no runs on three hits over 5.2 innings in the Reds' 1-0 win over the Mets on Wednesday. He walked one and struck out eight in the no decision.

Fantasy Impact:

DeSclafani has been rolling as of late, having gone three straight starts allowing one run or fewer. He's lowered his ERA to 3.48 in the process. While his 4.24 FIP suggests regression, DeSclafani has done a much better job of preventing homers over his hot stretch, which has been a huge problem for him throughout his career. He's hard to trust in tough matchups, but he gets a nice one next time out against San Francisco at home.
