Max Scherzer suffers fourth loss of season

Max Scherzer allowed three runs on eight hits, striking out eight and walking two, registering the loss as the Nationals fell to the St. Louis Cardinals 5-1 Wednesday night.
Fantasy Impact:
It's been nearly a month since Scherzer last recorded a win, a combination of bouts of poor location and bad luck. He pitched well enough to win Wednesday, but the sputtering Nationals offense failed to come to his aid. While the wins have yet to come in 2019, Scherzer still has a sterling 62-to-7 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He also topped out at 97 MPH last night.
