Tyler Mahle a tough-luck loser Thursday

Tyler Mahle allowed one run on four hits over five innings in the Reds' 1-0 loss to the Mets on Thursday. He walked none and struck out seven while falling to 0-4.
Fantasy Impact:
Mahle was unfortunate enough to face Noah Syndergaard today. Syndergaard pitched a complete game shutout and hit a solo home run off Mahle. This was a still a solid start for Mahle, who now has a 4.09 ERA and 3.72 FIP on the year. He is someone that can be used in favorable matchups, but his shallow repertoire (Mahle throws his fastball or curveabll 85% of the time) makes him volatile. He's a good add for next week since he has two starts. Mahle is at Oakland and home against San Francisco.
