Dakota Hudson delivers quality start in loss Thursday

by Elliott Baas | Rockies Correspondent | Fri, May 3rd 12:52am EDT

Dakota Hudson allowed two runs (one earned) in six innings in the Cardinals' 2-1 loss to the Nationals on Thursday. He walked two and struck out seven while falling to 2-2.

Fantasy Impact:

Even though he took the loss, this was Hudson's best start of the season thus far. He put up a season-high seven strikeouts and notched his first quality start. He still has a 6.80 FIP, so he's far from trustworthy in all but deep leagues. His next start comes Tuesday vs. Philadelphia.
