Corey Hart may see time as cleanup hitter

According to an MLB.com article, veteran outfielder Corey Hart is looking at a potential opportunity to bat cleanup for the Pirates in 2015. After that spot in the order struggled mightily last season for the Bucs, Hart is thought of among the most likely candidates to fill the role. (MLB.com)

Hart was once viewed as a player with a ton of promise that could have been a top-tier outfielder for a generation. Unfortunately, injuries and multiple stops at different organizations have derailed his potential. Having put up 25 or more home runs in a season three times, Hart could provide the pop needed to have a lengthy stay in the cleanup spot for the Pirates in 2015 should he manage to stay consistent at the plate, as well as healthy.
