Matthew Boyd excellent in Friday win

Detroit Tigers left-hander Matthew Boyd pitched well in a 4-3 win over the Royals on Friday. Boyd allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out nine and walked just one in the win.
Fantasy Impact:
Boyd has been fantastic this season, posting a 3-2 record, 3.05 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and 57 strikeouts in 44 1/3 innings of work. He has certainly tossed his hat in the ring for early-season Cy Young consideration. Boyd will face the Angels in his next start.
