Reynaldo Lopez allows six runs in loss

by Matthew Adam | Braves Correspondent | Sat, May 4th 7:54am EDT

Chicago White Sox right-hander Reynaldo Lopez struggled in a loss to the Red Sox on Friday. Lopez allowed six runs in six innings of work in the 6-1 loss. He managed six strikeouts and walked three in the outing.

Fantasy Impact:

Lopez was coming off a career game which saw him strike out 14 batters. He came crashing down to earth on Friday, performing more in line with how he has over the rest of the season. Lopez now has a 2-4 record, 6.69 ERA, 1.76 WHIP, and 45 strikeouts in 36 1/3 innings of work. He has immense strikeout upside, which is offset by his inability to keep the other team off the scoreboard. He will face the Indians on Wednesday.
