Michael Wacha allowed five runs (four earned) on six hits over five innings in the Cardinals' 6-5 loss to the Cubs on Saturday. He walked four and struck out four in the no decision.
Fantasy Impact:
This was another inefficient start from Wacha, who now has a 5.17 ERA on the season. His 6.03 BB/9 is hard to stomach, and his control issues hurt both his run prevention and longevity. He isn't worth using outside of soft matchups, but he does draw a favorable one next time out, taking on Pittsburgh at home on Thursday.
