Jose Alvarado pitched 2/3 of an inning on Saturday striking out one batter as the Rays lost to the Orioles by a 3-0 score.
Fantasy Impact:
Alvarado came into the season looking like he would be the closer for the Rays. But the team has used multiple pitchers in the role and Alvarado has not seen a save chance since April 7. Alvarado is no longer a must-own in fantasy but is worth having in leagues that count holds as well as saves.
