Mike Clevinger throws from 120 feet, could throw a bullpen session soon

Indians starting pitcher Mike Clevinger threw from 120 feet on Monday and, according to Clevinger himself, felt "like money." If all goes well over the next few days, it is possible that the right-hander could begin throwing some bullpen sessions soon. He’s eligible to be activated from the IL on June 7. Fantasy Impact:

Clevinger landed on the injured list after just two starts in April with a back injury, and it was said at the time that he might not even touch a baseball for 6-to-8 weeks. He appears to be well ahead of schedule and feeling well, but the Indians, as evidenced by their placement of Clevinger on the 60-day injured list a few weeks ago, are going to take a cautious approach with a pitcher they believe could be a future ace of their staff.
