Andrew Cashner allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk while striking out five across six innings Wednesday against the Red Sox. He did not factor in the decision.

Cashner has had an inconsistent season so far with some strong performances mixed in with some duds. Overall the veteran righty has a 4-1 record with a 4.25 ERA and 1.37 WHIP over eight starts. Cashner has a tough matchup in his next outing when he faces the Yankees in New York.
