Jose Peraza went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles, two walks, an RBI, and a run scored in the Reds' 5-4 extra innings win over the Athletics on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Peraza's batting average is slowing approaching the Mendoza line, as he's now hitting .196 on the year with a .250 OBP. He's also starting to correct the issues that plagued him early on; Peraza's strikeout rate and flyball rate are both dropping, but not quickly enough for him to turn things around completely. He's worth holding in deeper 5x5 leagues for his steal upside, but Peraza is good enough to warrant holding during such a prolonged slump in standard leagues.
