Tanner Roark pitched six scoreless innings and improved to 3-1 in the Reds' 3-0 win over the Athletics on Thursday. He allowed three hits, walked two, and struck out three.
Fantasy Impact:
This makes back-to-back quality starts for Roark, which is nice to see since he failed to complete six innings in his first six outings. It'll be hard for Roark to maintain his 4.8% HR/FB rate, especially while pitching half his games in Cincinnati. He may have a 3.27 ERA, but his 4.83 xFIP could be a sign of things to come. His next start comes Wednesday vs. the Cubs at home.
