Clay Buchholz scratched from Friday start due to elbow issue

Blue Jays starter Clay Buchholz has been scratched from his scheduled start against the Chicago White Sox due to an elbow issue. Toronto is going to use Daniel Hudson as an "opener" instead. (Hazel Mae on Twitter)

Blue Jays broadcaster Hazel Mae adds that she is hearing that this is the same elbow issue that landed Buchholz on the injured list earlier in the Spring, so it is possible that he could land back on the shelf. An update on his status should be available soon.
