Felix Hernandez placed on 10-day IL

The Mariners have placed Felix Hernandez on the 10-day injured list with a right shoulder strain. Right hander Parker Markel has been called up from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move. (MLB Trade Rumors on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The move comes less than 24-hours after the veteran Hernandez notched his 2,500th career strikeout against the Red Sox in a start in which he allowed even runs over just 2 1/3 innings. Hernandez is no longer relevant in fantasy discussions outside of the rarest of desperation spot starts.
