Paul DeJong went 1-for-3 with an RBI double in the Cardinals' 2-1 loss to the Pirates on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
DeJong is now slashing .327/.408/.575 on the year. With his improvements in strikeout rate, line drive rate, and hard hit rate DeJong profiles as a true talent .300 hitter. Whether he can keep it up over an entire season remains to be seen, but this breakout looks legitimate.
