Blake Snell strikes out 12 but loses to Yankees

Blake Snell gave up two runs on four hits and struck out 12 batters over 5 2/3 innings as the Rays lost to the Yankees by a 7-1 score on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Snell pitched well enough to get the win but did not get any support for the Rays bats. The reigning AL Cy Young winner has a 3.56 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 62/11 K/BB ratio over 43 innings this season. Snell has a tough matchup in his next start when he faces the Yankees once again but this time on the road.
