David Robertson visits Dr. James Andrews, will not throw for three weeks

by Mike Maher | Rangers Correspondent | Mon, May 13th 4:17pm EDT

Phillies reliever David Robertson saw orthopedist James Andrews on Monday and will not throw for another three weeks, according to beat writer Matt Gelb on Twitter. Rest has been recommended for his ailing elbow. (Matt Gelb on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Robertson signed with Philadelphia as a free agent this offseason but pitched just 6 2/3 innings before landing on the injured list. His initial diagnosis was a flexor strain in his right elbow, and he remains without a timetable for a return. Look for an update on his status near the end of May.
