Matthew Boyd lasts just four innings vs. Houston

Detroit Tigers left-hander Matthew Boyd only lasted four innings in an 8-1 loss to the Astros on Monday. He allowed three runs on five hits while striking out two and walking two.
Fantasy Impact:
It wasn't an awful performance by Boyd. The Astros just made him work, as he needed 96 pitches to get through four frames. Boyd has been one of the better pitchers in the American League this season, so look for him to bounce back in his next start.
