Travis Shaw likely headed to IL or Triple-A

Brewers infielder Travis Shaw "appears headed to injured list (hand/wrist) or Triple-A" with the promotion of top prospect Keston Hiura according to a report from MLB insider Ken Rosenthal. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Shaw just sat out for three games over the weekend as the team faced a series of left-handers, and he is batting just .163 on the season. He has already lost playing time to utility man Hernan Perez, and the Brewers are clearly looking for more production by promoting Keston Hiura to the big league squad. A corresponding move for Hiura has not yet been announced, but it sounds like Shaw could be headed for a demotion or a stint on the injured list. The move should become known prior to the team's game against the Phillies tonight.
