Freddy Peralta lasts four innings in no decision Monday

by Elliott Baas | Brewers Correspondent | Tue, May 14th 11:09am EDT

Freddy Peralta allowed two runs (one earned) on seven hits over four innings in the Brewers' 7-4 loss to the Phillies on Monday. He walked none and struck out five in the no decision.

Fantasy Impact:

This was death by 1000 papercuts for Peralta, as the Phillies knocked seven singles off him in four innings. On the bright side, Peralta did not allow an extra base hit or issue a walk. It's disappointing that he lasted just 80 pitches, but his early hook was due to a pinch-hitter, not his poor performance. The floor is too low to trust Peralta yet, but he's worth watching. His next start comes Saturday at Atlanta.
