Mets starter Noah Syndergaard allowed two earned runs on four hits and one walk while striking out six over eight innings in Tuesday's win over the Washington Nationals. The win brings him to 3-3 on the season.

Syndergaard seems to be rounding into form after some early season hiccups as he has sandwiched a four-runs allowed performance with a complete game shutout and eight strong innings. His ERA is now down to 4.74 on the year, and he will look to continue to lower it when he takes on the Marlins in Miami in his next start.
