Kyle Hendricks allowed one run on three hits over eight innings in the Cubs' 3-1 win over the Reds on Tuesday. He walked one and struck out seven while improving to 3-4.
Fantasy Impact:
Hendricks has shown incredible depth lately, having gone at least eight innings in each of his last three starts. That puts him in rare company in today's game, and helps make up for a below average strikeout rate. Hendricks will carry a 2.86 ERA into his next start, which comes Sunday at Washington.
