Jack Flaherty allows three runs in win Tuesday

Jack Flaherty allowed three runs on three hits over six innings in the Cardinals' 14-3 win over the Braves on Tuesday. He walked five and struck out six while improving to 4-3.

Fantasy Impact:

Walks continue to be an issue for Flaherty, who has issued at least three free passes in each of his last three starts. His 10 K/9 is nice, but with a 4.34 ERA, 4.26 FIP, and 1.51 HR/9, Flaherty is hardly the SP2 owners were hoping for this season. He'll pull a gem out of his pocket now and then, but expect volatility from the 23-year-old. His next start comes Sunday at Texas.
